Prayer Updates

Pray for the Discipleship Team. May they dwell deep in the Word of God and draw upon it constantly to shape the characteristics of a healthy KPC-HPC disciple, and the structures of the church leadership and ministries.

Pray for Sharing Community Team that they will have unstoppable energy and creativity to look into ways to engage KPCians and HPCians, young and old as we form our new identity. Prepare the hearts and minds of each member that that we would participate fully in the community and identity building journey.

Pray for the Fiduciary Team. Enable them to have clear and rigorous deliberations on the legal, financial, HR, member welfare and mission aspects of the church. We pray that the reviews will result enriched policies and guidelines for us to integrate smoothly and operate effectively.

Pray for the Communications Team that they will be able to convey the progress of integration process effectively to members from different segments of the church, across generations, ministries and congregations so that all of us may co-own this journey and grow in the process.

Pray that the Combined Elders & Deacons team to stay focused and aligned with each other, and to God’s Word and Mission as they seek to draw the church in the process of integration between KPC and HPC.

Pray for wisdom and patience among our KPC-HPC leadership and members as we learn to build trust among us.

Pray that God will help us work through cracks in communication and protect us during this vulnerable journey lest the enemy sow discord among us.

Help us, as a Church, to walk in a manner worthy of our calling, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit. And together, may we do more for the kingdom of God than we could ever do apart. And through this unity, we may truly be His light and hope in our community.
