Peck Hong came to KPC while in search of a church where her two children could attend Sunday School. She was soon baptized in KPC. Both her children in their early 20s now, are with the youth ministry. She is thankful for the church support network that her children grew up with as they transit through their teen years and now as young adults.

Peck Hong is an educator at a tiertiary institution. In church, Peck Hong serves with the Facilities Stewardship Team and teaches in Sunday School. She particularly enjoys interacting with the toddlers.

Cheryl came to know God at a young age, through her parents sharing their faith. She used to serve as a youth CG leader, in the worship team, and missions. More recently, she has a burden for young parents and family discipleship and currently serves in the Family Life ministry and as a Sunday school teacher to the youngest members of the church.

Married to Elvin Liow, she has two boisterous boys, Samuel, 9, and Timothy, 5. She enjoys travelling, and likes to watch Asian period dramas.

Cheryl has a desk job that looks primarily at numbers and Python code, hence she recently took up ballet to keep fit and restart a childhood passion.

Foong Tan is married to Choon Pin and they have two children, David and Angeline.

She became a Christian since her secondary school days. She was involved in Sunday School during her student and working days in London. Also she had been a Children's Leader in BSF for several years and in Children's CBSI at KPC.

Currently she is teaching in KPC Cornerstone.

She enjoys travelling to various countries.

Siok Yiang became a Christian through YFC during her secondary school days. She subsequently attended KPC through her husband Owen. Together, they have 4 adult children, (Marianne, Bryan, Marilyn & Jadon ), 2 son in laws, ( Samuel Nee & Nabeel), 3 grandchildren ( Faith, Joy & Noah) The family gathers together over the weekends for dinner.

Siok Yiang enjoys working with children & she has been serving in Sunday School for a number of years. Previously, she also served as a children's leader in BSF & CBSI

She exercises to keep fit & enjoys connecting with friends over meals whenever possible

Sect Chin used to live opposite KPC and wandered into the church compound several times. A kind lady invited her to Sunday School. She was 6 then. Through the teachers, she had experienced the love of Christ and now she carries the torch for the next generation at Sunday School.

She is married to Osbert Chew. They have 2 married sons, Nicholas & Raphael, and their youngest son, Ethan, is in university. Their daughters-in-law are Hazel and Li Chen and their first grandchild is Joash.

Since their return from Israel, she no longer needed to work but devote her time in serving in the Sunday School and a women’s Bible Study group. Hiking and walks are some of her favorite things to do whenever she has the opportunity!

Conrad is married to Sally and has two daughters. He grew up in a Christian family and grew up hearing about Jesus. As he got older, he realised he have to trust and believe in Him for himself.

He works as a scientist in infectious diseases. He enjoys cooking, cycling and going for nature walks with friends and family.

Jayne started attending KPC as a little girl, brought to church by her family (her dad, mum and aunty). Her own personal conviction came during a youth camp where she experienced the presence of the Lord.

She is currently married to Kah Weng and have two children, Natalie and Nathan. Her parents and her sister all attend KPC too.

She used to serve in the Music Ministry as a keyboardist until she became pregnant with her first child. A few years later, she joined the Children’s Ministry where she finds immense joy and delight in teaching and interacting with the children. She strongly believes that in serving the children, she herself has been ministered to.

Elvin Liow became a Christian at the age of 10 and has been serving in HPC since he was 18, mainly as a Bible Study leader to the youths, as well as in various capacities. Currently, he is serving in the Praisebabies as an uncle-teacher to the tiny ones amongst our midst. He has a wife Cheryl whom he has been married to since 2012 and has two sons, Samuel and Timothy, who are 9 and 5 respectively.

A software engineer by training, Elvin currently works as a public servant in a Statutory Board. His interests are diverse, ranging from photography, to playing and watching basketball, to reading and gaming, both electronic and board types.

Lyndis Kang became a Christian when her relatives brought her to Sunday School as a child. She was baptised at age 17 and has served in church music ministry and Sunday School ministry since her teens, believing deeply in the importance of sound theology in songs and in ministry to kids. She delights in the opportunity to connect with those from all walks of life, some of whom are not believers, at Community Dinners hosted in church.

She is wife to Elder Joshua Lee, and mum to daughters Kate and Beth. She is an economist by training but loves most to write and journal. She tries her best to live out the gospel in her vocation as a public servant in a Statutory Board. Lyndis enjoys reading as well as reviewing Christian books and middle-grade fiction, and she has published three children’s books.

To Glorianne, Katong Presbyterian Church is where she’s been calling home for the past 26 years of her life. She has been challenged and grown by many people in this church as they teach her the Word of God from when she was little, modelling what a life laid down for Christ looks like.

She’s currently a Social Worker working in a Family Service Center. In her free time she enjoys solving Sudoku puzzles, cycling and taking walks by the beach. She especially loves watching a good sunrise or sunset.

She’s currently serving in the Youth Ministry where she plan for events and the weekly service with the committee. She also serves in the Children’s Ministry where she teaches and plays with children!Description goes here
